Maya Adventures – Sailing & other adventures
Maya Adventures is family in love with sailing. We dream of purchasing our own sailboat. We dream of sailing and discovering and meeting new and interesting animals, people and plants, not necessarily in that order 🙂 This dream is ongoing, we are building it day by day. Sailing bug bite us back in 2014 on a Alykes beach while we were on a vacation. It is hard to recolect of all the things from the distance, but at the time it looked like an impossible mission. We are extremely unlikely sailors looking on our geographical and geopolitical past. But despite all we decided to pursue our dream – Sailing life.
Since we are corporate employees runing a rat race on a land, it was very dificult to even get to know people that can help us. Now, few years ahead and several miles in our hearts, we know a lot more about sailing, anchoring, docking, mediteranian mooring etc.
In the past years we built our confidence that the life we dream of will be soon our real life. Recently we moved one step closer and got ourselfs a EU residence permats and moved to live close to Atlantic ocean. So far we sailed in Montenegro, Greece, Portugal and took a glance at Northern Atlantic Ocean. We sailed in Netherland as well, and felt very nice Dutch weather. 😉
This website along with Maya adventures YouTube channel and Instagram account are mostly dedicated to sailing but also other trips and family adventures or as we like to call it adventures in nature (#adventures_in_nature). Sit back, enjoy and support us if you like our content!
